Excellent stuff. Easy to mix and use. A great way to get a different look from your black and white film. May not be everyone's cup of tea, but definitely worth a try for experimentation's sake and to try and get closer to your artistic vision as a film photographer

This time I bought my Pyrocat-HD in Glycol from Adorama for convenience sake. I've had good experiences with Photographer's Formulary products since 2012 and have had consistent success with them. "Shiprock" was developed using a dilution of 1.5:3:100 in a Jobo 3005 Expert drum and a Jobo CPP3 processor operated at 55 RPM.

I've used Pyrocat MC in a Jobo for a number of years. I get good results on a wide range of films. The staining effect contributes to fewer printing steps. Highly recommended.

Where professional photography meets superior chemical engineering, the Formulary's Divided D-76 Film Developer stands out as an economical metol-hydroquinone film developer. This product is designed to provide films with normal grain, enhanced sharpness, and exceptional tonal gradation, making it an ideal choice for photographers seeking to capture images with depth and clarity.
This unique developer operates as a two-bath compensation developer, utilizing a two-step process to ensure optimal film development. The Divided D-76's chemical composition is used to prepare two distinct working solutions, each playing a crucial role in the development process.
In the first stage, the film is immersed in solution A for a duration of 3 minutes. This solution is rich in developing agents that initiate the development process. Following this, the film is then placed in solution B for a period of 2-4 minutes, the duration of which can be adjusted depending on the film type and the level of contrast desired. Solution B is laden with alkali, which kickstarts the development process.
The development continues until the developing agents retained on the film back are completely exhausted. This method of development is designed to hold back the highlights while simultaneously bringing out the shadow detail, ensuring a balanced and detailed image. Importantly, this process does not reduce the film speed, maintaining the original pace of your photography.
The Divided D-76 Film Developer offers a shelf life of 2 months for solution A, while solution B is designed as a one-shot solution, ensuring freshness and effectiveness with each use. This product is a testament to Formulary's commitment to providing high-quality, economical solutions for film development.
