I say give it a try

Excellent stuff. Easy to mix and use. A great way to get a different look from your black and white film. May not be everyone's cup of tea, but definitely worth a try for experimentation's sake and to try and get closer to your artistic vision as a film photographer

I've had good experiences with Photographer's Formulary products since 2012

This time I bought my Pyrocat-HD in Glycol from Adorama for convenience sake. I've had good experiences with Photographer's Formulary products since 2012 and have had consistent success with them. "Shiprock" was developed using a dilution of 1.5:3:100 in a Jobo 3005 Expert drum and a Jobo CPP3 processor operated at 55 RPM.

A Great Developer

I've used Pyrocat MC in a Jobo for a number of years. I get good results on a wide range of films. The staining effect contributes to fewer printing steps. Highly recommended.

From the trusted brand of Photographers' Formulary comes the Kodalith Film Developer 70, a professional-grade, high-quality hydroquinone developer that's specifically designed for Kodak films. This reliable developer is renowned for its ability to produce exceptionally dense blacks, crystal-clear highlights, and sharp edge separation, closely mirroring the performance of the well-regarded Ansco 70.

The Kodalith Film Developer 70 kit includes chemicals to create two distinct stock solutions. When mixed in a 1:1 ratio, these solutions form the working solution that brings your photographs to life. Notably, Solution A boasts a stability of six months, while Solution B maintains its effectiveness for one month. To ensure you have ample supply, the kit thoughtfully includes enough chemicals for two batches of Solution B.
