Excellent stuff. Easy to mix and use. A great way to get a different look from your black and white film. May not be everyone's cup of tea, but definitely worth a try for experimentation's sake and to try and get closer to your artistic vision as a film photographer

This time I bought my Pyrocat-HD in Glycol from Adorama for convenience sake. I've had good experiences with Photographer's Formulary products since 2012 and have had consistent success with them. "Shiprock" was developed using a dilution of 1.5:3:100 in a Jobo 3005 Expert drum and a Jobo CPP3 processor operated at 55 RPM.

I've used Pyrocat MC in a Jobo for a number of years. I get good results on a wide range of films. The staining effect contributes to fewer printing steps. Highly recommended.

It's no secret that the Photographers' Formulary FX-2 High Acutance Film Developer is a top-tier choice for professionals and enthusiasts alike seeking to enhance the sharpness and contrast of their film photography. This high-quality film developer is expertly designed to produce negatives with a high degree of sharpness and normal grain, while also offering the potential for intriguing internal effects.
Unlike the D-76, the FX-2 film developer makes grain less apparent due to the superior definition it provides. When compared to its counterpart, the FX-1, the FX-2 stands out by producing negatives with finer grain and less acutance, yet both offer uniquely pleasing effects that cater to a variety of photographic styles and preferences.
For those seeking to maximize the potential of their film, using the FX-2 as a stand developer for one hour can yield the most fascinating internal contrast effects among the FX developers. This reliable and efficient film developer is not just a solution, but a tool for photographers to achieve their artistic vision. With the capacity to make a 10Lt solution, the FX-2 High Acutance Film Developer is a versatile and effective choice for all your film development needs.
