Having quality Chemicals is what it is all about when you decide you are going to control the whole process from beginning to end

Since I live in a very remote area in New Mexico, I keep an extensive supply of chemicals for mixing developers. If you live in an urban area where there is a Photo lab that does custom processing you would not need to MYO unless you want to see the results of your shoot the same day. When you leave home in the morning you never know how the day is going to pan out, what the sun is going to do, what the conditions will be when you snap the shutter, what mistakes you may make. Many times I have developed a roll of film just to save one shot that I screwed up because I made a mistake. Having quality Chemicals is what it is all about when you decide you are going to control the whole process from beginning to end.

High quality chemicals and affordable

Purchased this for my ID-11 developer formula. Very high quality, my developer works perfectly!

The Photographers' Formulary Hydroquinone, a 10g Hazmat product, is a crucial component in the development process of black and white photography. This high-quality chemical agent is designed to build density in combination with other developers, enhancing the contrast and depth in your monochrome images.

Notably, Hydroquinone is known for its stability under ordinary conditions of use and storage, ensuring a long shelf-life for your photographic needs. However, it's important to note that the solution may turn brown in air due to oxidation, a natural process that does not affect its functionality.

For those seeking alternatives, Vitamin C can be used as a substitute for Hydroquinone. To achieve similar results, start by using 1.6 times the weight of Hydroquinone and increase the alkali (such as borax or carbonate) by 1.6 times to compensate for the acidity of the Vitamin C.

Whether you're a professional photographer or a hobbyist, the Photographers' Formulary Hydroquinone is a reliable choice for black and white photographic development. Please remember to handle this product with care, as it falls under the Hazmat category.
