Shopper : Does this subwoofer work with a home audio receiver?NICHOLAS N : Yes but you may need an adapter. I doubt your home receiver will push enough power for this thing to work properly. This item requires power. If you want something that is plug and play you will need a powered sub woofer. Or you can just use a bass amp and line in a signal to it.

The PASW15 features one 15" Pyle Premium Woofer in a specially designed ported bass reflex enclosure which provides extended low frequency output. The 15" Woofer features a 90 ounce magnet and a 2.5" Kapton Voice Coil, for excellent signal response and precision reproduction of low end frequencies.
