phil m : do you need an amplifier or can you simply bluetooth your phone to it and stream?STEVE P : I never use to bluetooth directly however I'm pretty sure you can I don't see why you would need any type of amplification it already is the amplifier it's just a matter of your phone and the device however I wouldn't recommend this product unless you plan on keeping it in more less indoor conditions and not bounce around a lot as it is very easy to break cosmeticallyand I've been reading reviews where they actually arrive with certain cosmetic damages as to do handles and such which actually did happen to be but not in a major way for me to want to return it and once moved around a little bit too much is very possible you could short out internally which happened to me and I had to return it so I would say for a light user it has a good full sound a lot of features but not to be manhandled in anyway good luck I hope this helped
