I bought the pair to support acoustic guitar amplifiers. Shown is the stand with a Roland AC-90 amp. Using the flat mount works fine, but it can also be removed to use as direct pole mount (a bit lose on the Roland, but the 1/4" or so gap could easily be filled). This is very close to the Roland tripod that sells for about $100. The deal through Adorama was outstanding; I bought the pair for just over $40. That's $30 - 40 better than any of their competitors. I have what I need, and will give my guitarist daughter the spare. Stand is well made and sturdy; perfect for home and small gigs.

These are very high quality and built better than I expected. The height adjustment is very easy to use. They have rubber on top to keep my Klipsch RM41 speakers from moving. They are also very stable and not likely to fall over.

They work great with my Kali LP6's and foam isolator pads. Sturdy and reliable yet relatively cheap. Highly recommend.
