becky l : What is the wattage when hooking up 4 home speakers? And do you need a pre amp with this or is a pre amp already installed? Is the a/b speaker selector for all 4 home speakers to run together?JOHN C : hello, the pyle pt3300 amplifier is not a good quality amplifier... for starters i would recommend a dj/professional power amplifier, some do come with two or four channels, and of course they are more expensive... it is well worth it to spend the extra cost for obtaining a good powerful dj/professional amplifier.. now, with most amplifiers that stand alone, you will have to have a separate pre-amp or mixer, and for best results use a quality equalizer, and if desired a sonic enhancer/sound enhancement processor which all as stated are 19 inch rack-mounted separate units... this will allow you to have the best possible quality sound from your system... most amplifiers with even two speaker connections can run up to 4 speakers, for example, a 8 ohm speaker, connecting two with lower the ohms to 4, or you can purchase a 4 channel amplifier as a alternative. there are several web sites that do sell 4 channel amplifiers, such as seismic audio and a few others as well.. before you make any purchases shop around for a amplifier that will suit your wishes...THOMAS M : I am unable to answer all of Becky's Questions because I bought this unit for a church in Costa Rica and they have all of the tech info there. I don't believe that they had to use a preamp they did tell me that they had to cut back on the volume levels so that they would not damage the speakers!MARC L : Sorry, I can't help. The Pyle PT3300 3000 W Power Amplifier is rack mountable. It's a great addition to your equipment and provides big, punchy sound with a wide dynamic frequency range, so it's game for music and voice. It takes 4 RCA inputs - a true multi-tasker and outputs to two sets of speakers, with an A/B selector. Plug in up to two microphones using the front 1/4" jacks. Easily adjust the treble, bass and balance with the front-mounted rotary faders. This amp even has an echo effect. The master volume control looks great, too, thanks to the Blue LED effect. It runs on 110 or 220 V.
