Easy to Use and Lasts a Long Time

If you use any of the staining developers this product won't alter the stain. If not, you'll still get the benefit of fast fixing -- about a minute for fiber base paper. Don't be concerned about the appearance of the precipitate in the bottom of the bottle. When you mix it up according to the directions, that will go into solution with a little stirring and some patience.

Great Fixer for Home Development

Excellent fixer. I use this and TF-5 and get excellent results. I like not having to use a chemical stop bath. I use about a liter of distilled water at 20C in two 30 second baths between my developer and fixer using TF-4.

Easy to mix

I'm a complete noob but this was easy enough to use. Removed magenta stain from tri-x like described,

TF-4 is great

I use this after developing with Pyro Developer. I like that it combines stop bath and fixer in one. One less step. The combination of TF-4 and Pyro produces amazing negatives with a wide range of gradations in tones.

Great Stuff

TF4 is fantastic. It's all I use and it's minimalistic by taking out other steps of film processing.

happy with results

Switched to this fixer via a recommendation from someone on youtube. First thing I noticed and I don't know if it's because of my humid climate, but when I was shaking the bottle I found it built up static charge, which was amusing. Anyway, mixing the gallon of fixer was easy, and using it per instructions yielded beautiful results. This is great will buy again.

Very glad I bought it

I was recommended to use this because I was using regular Kodak fixer on Foma/Arista EDU 100 4 by 5 film and getting some blotchy clumping in the grain. Someone who got the same results said this fixer worked much better, and he was right -- first test shows vast improvement.
