Excellent stuff. Easy to mix and use. A great way to get a different look from your black and white film. May not be everyone's cup of tea, but definitely worth a try for experimentation's sake and to try and get closer to your artistic vision as a film photographer

This time I bought my Pyrocat-HD in Glycol from Adorama for convenience sake. I've had good experiences with Photographer's Formulary products since 2012 and have had consistent success with them. "Shiprock" was developed using a dilution of 1.5:3:100 in a Jobo 3005 Expert drum and a Jobo CPP3 processor operated at 55 RPM.

I've used Pyrocat MC in a Jobo for a number of years. I get good results on a wide range of films. The staining effect contributes to fewer printing steps. Highly recommended.

An exceptional choice for photography enthusiasts and professionals alike, Wimberley's WD2D Pyro-Metol Film Developer is a high-quality Pyrogallol-Metol film developer. This product is expertly designed to produce medium-grain negatives, offering high acutance and normal to slightly lower than normal contrast for a unique and striking result.
This film developer delivers results that are comparable to those achieved with Formulary ABC Pyro, but with the added advantage of no loss in film speed. This ensures that your images retain their quality and detail, even in challenging lighting conditions.
The Wimberley's WD2D Pyro-Metol Film Developer kit includes chemicals that are used to create two distinct stock solutions. These solutions are then diluted at a ratio of 1:1:15 for sheet film or 1:1:20 for roll film, providing flexibility based on your specific needs.
One of the standout features of this film developer is its impressive yield. From the stock solutions, you can prepare anywhere from 17 to 22 liters of working solution, making it a cost-effective choice for both hobbyists and professional photographers.
The stock solution boasts a shelf life of six months, ensuring that you can use it over an extended period. However, please note that the working solution is intended for single use and should be discarded after use.
In summary, Wimberley's WD2D Pyro-Metol Film Developer is a reliable and efficient solution for developing your film, delivering consistent results and excellent value for money.
