WILLIAM P : are the cameras power supply and cables included?JERRY P : Yes the cables, 3ft or so USB cable, long power supply cable to the camera and the power distribution box, 120V to 12VDC power supply are included. A very nice retainer block is also included. The block attaches to the camera with two long screws and holds the usb and power cabe firmly on the camera body, no chance the cables will fall off. This is a very nice camera in the same price range as the Celestron NightScape 8300. The thermal electric cooler (TEC) cools to a lower temp than most CCDs and the TEC is very efficient, reaching the programmed temperature in a very few minutes. If you purchase this camera, be aware of the recommended power up connection sequence. USB to PC first, power cable to the included power distribution box and finally the 12VDC power supply. Reverse sequence when your session is finished. I understand that this sequence helps prevent power spikes that could damage the camera. I hope this helps.
