From the renowned brand QSC comes the AcousticDesign AD-S10T, a 10" 2-Way Surface Mount Loudspeaker in a sleek white finish. This high-quality speaker is designed to cater to a broad spectrum of foreground and background sound reinforcement needs, delivering superior audio performance in both indoor and outdoor settings.
The AD-S10T is equipped with a 10" weather-treated paper cone woofer on a 2.5" voice coil, ensuring durability and reliability. Complementing the woofer is a meticulously chosen 1" exit, 1.4" compression driver that harmonizes with the woofer's sensitivity and performance, providing exceptional full-range sound reproduction.
One of the standout features of this loudspeaker is the Directivity Matched Transition (DMT), a QSC innovation. DMT matches the directivity patterns of the woofer and the high-frequency waveguide at the crossover point, resulting in a coherent transition between transducers and improved off-axis response.
The AD-S10T's precise and balanced frequency response is further enhanced by a 100-watt low-loss, low-saturation transformer with selectable taps, including an 8 Ohms bypass. The rotary selector is strategically located on the back of the enclosure and protected by a weather grommet to maintain weather resistance.
Constructed with rugged ABS enclosures, sealed input panel covers, and powder-coated aluminum grilles, the AcousticDesign surface-mounted series surpasses IEC60529 IP-54 ratings for dust and splash resistance. This makes the AD-S10T an ideal choice for outdoor audio setups.
Installation is made easy with the award-winning X-Mount system, which allows for quick and secure installation in horizontal, vertical, wall, or ceiling deployments. The AD-S10T also includes M10 fittings for optional yoke mount (YMS10T) or shoulder eyebolt (M10 Kit-C) accessories, providing installation versatility.
For enhanced performance and optimal results, advanced voicing filter sets using QSC Intrinsic Correction techniques are available using Q-Sys networked audio processing platforms, including CXD amplifiers for a complete QSC systems solution.
