The Rainbow has upped its game - Introducing the R2, the sequel to the original Rainbow Linear LED Light. This design adds a plethora of new features, while keeping the same sleek, sturdy low-profile shape as all the legacy Quasar products you have grown to love.

We are now offering multi-pixel control without compromising the clean color or high output that we have always been known for. The Q50R2 has 24 pixels

The Swaptics Interchangeable Lens System
Also available as an optional accessory is our new Swaptics Interchangeable Lens System. The slim diffuser (included with the lights) and two swappable lenses, the Light Barrel large diffuser and the Light Magnifier projection lens, are available for purchase.

The RAIL Mounting System
We have upped the caliber for rigging with the RAIL Mounting System, giving you the most versatility of any rigging system yet. In collaboration with Key Grip and Hardware Designer, Chuck Smallwood of G-Force Grips, both the RR and R2 lights include the QS Slider to mount anywhere along the back of the light and the QS Baby Pin to attach onto your slider.

We know how important efficiency is on set, so we have designed an onboard rigging system.

Straight out of the box, you will be able to rig your Quasars. No more buying additional clamps or metal clips. The R2 will come standard with a mounting rail down the back of the light, lined with 3/8-16 and 1/4-20 mounting points.

Two attachments will come with the purchase of each light. The first is the QS Slider, which allows you to slide the rigging point anywhere along the plane of the linear light. The second is the QS Baby Pin to mount to the QS Slider or directly to the rail itself.

We are offering two additional accessories for the RAIL Mounting System that are sold separately. The QS Rotator Block allows you rotate the light 360 degrees on any mounted 5/8" or 3/8" pin or rod. We are also offering an attachment to rig your V-Mount batteries onto the light for any run and gun type filming. Keeping an external battery enables easy battery changes.
