Basic hotshot mount for FW10
Does what it's supposed to. Let you mount your FW10 on the camera hotshoe to use as a transmitter. Works well, but the lock knob on it faces your forehead and sometimes can scratch.

Easy way to connect cameras with Quantum
The best part of having the FW-12, is it allows me to use FreeXwire with any standard hotshoe camera to trigger my 5D-r's. This is perfect when I conduct my ProActive Lighting Workshops, as any of my students can work with the lights (as long as they aren't using a Sony/Minolta type hotshoe). Just remember that it will only trigger with the FW9T transmitter or the FW10W transceiver, and it does not offer any TTL.
