Questions & Answers

PATRICIA H : if i put this on my quantum flash what do i need to put on my Nikon d800 to fire the quantum?JOHN L : I'm sorry but whenI ordered the Qnexus I didn't realize ut wasn't what I needed and sent it back. I was needing a QTTL adapterTHANH T : Hello friend, I am a Canon shooter but I can tell you this: in order to trigger the Quantum with the qnexus unit, first thing is you have to have the pop up flash built- in flash or connect the external flash to top of camera, choose the channel and set your qnexus for Nikon ( read manual how to set for Nikon ). In camera set up menu, go to flash setup and set your camera flash to master and same channel as your Qnexus, try to fire to see if the TD-R5 flash . Good luck to you. I recommend you to look into the Adorama Streaklite Flash unit, they are the same as Quantum flash but the price is very good. I wish that they have these units before so I will definitely buy them. Excellent flash unit with low price tags. Thanh Tran ( Garden Grove, CA )
Michael C : HELLO: I have a NIKON D5000. What does it require to make NIKON to syn WIRELESS with the QNEXUS ? What do I need to attach to the hotshoe of the D5000 for it to communicate with the QNESUS ??? THANKSMICHAEL C : With the Nikon D5000 you would need to be in Commander mode or better yet get a SB 910 speedlight and use it in master commander mode this would transmit a infared signal to the Qnexus- However I prefer the Radio popper system being a radio transmitted signal this is more reliable the using a line of sight set up (as described above..
Shopper : Why Did You Choose This?THANH T : Works great with ease.MICHAEL C : I chose this device to use with my Nikon system as a radio signal is more reliable than a line of sight system as in the case of Nikon
