Photo-Meter 1/2/LX
12 x 0.12" / 304.8 x 3.17mm
Before you delve into the world of precise light measurement, consider the Quantum PM-12 Flexible Fiber Optic Probe, a specialized attachment designed exclusively for use with the Photo-Meter 1/2/LX. This innovative tool is engineered to accurately read the brightness of self-luminous objects, including but not limited to diffuse lighting screens, video monitors, and signage.
The PM-12 stands out for its ability to measure small areas as tiny as 3mm or 1/8 inch, making it an invaluable tool for detailed light analysis. Moreover, its flexible design allows it to reach otherwise inaccessible areas, expanding the range of your measurements.
Each PM-12 Fiber Optic Probe is meticulously calibrated to ensure seamless compatibility with a Photo-Meter. The unit of luminance measurements varies depending on the model of the Photo-Meter used. When paired with the PM-1 or 2, the unit is footlamberts, while with the PMLX, it is candela per meter squared.
Mounting the PM-12 is a straightforward process. Simply remove the existing turret from your meter, place the probe's turret flat on top of the meter, and tighten the thumbscrew until it's snug but not overtight. To use, hold the Fiber Optic Probe against the surface to be measured and operate the Photo-Meter according to its instructions.
Incorporate the Quantum PM-12 Flexible Fiber Optic Probe into your light measurement toolkit for a more comprehensive and precise analysis.
