This clamp does the job it's designed for, clipping on the battery pack is easy. I use it on a tripod leg and for the size of the tripod legs it just fits. It would be nice if this clamp was available in a little bigger size. I use large size tripods as I do nature photography with big glass.

I would buy this product again.

I use these clamps to hold batteries for speedlights on light stands.  They clamp on very securely and all of the batteries I have used with a belt clip work perfectly with this clamp.  If you can't tell from the pics, there is a little notch in the base that holds a round pole in the middle of the base so it won't rotate or slip once tightened.

Very effective

This clamp works great and is easy to use but I felt it should have been closer to $10.

Great but too expensive

This clamp does a great job holding my quantum battery pack to the light stand and it is a quality piece of hardware.  But, for the life of me I cannot see why it costs almost [$]--Take my advice and find a cheaper work-around.
