It is a durable and high-quality Radio Slave 4i - Sender only, Frequency "E" device, designed by Quantum, a brand renowned for its superior equipment. This compact and user-friendly device serves as a wireless flash sync and shutter release, utilizing advanced digital circuitry for optimal performance. Its coded radio signal operates seamlessly both indoors and outdoors, around corners, and even through walls, eliminating the need for a direct line of sight between the Sender and Remote.

The device boasts an extended range of up to 350 feet (110 meters), and even with the antenna down, it can reach up to 200 feet (60 meters). It features a hot shoe mount, allowing the unit to attach directly to the camera shoe without the need for a sync cord. However, it can also be used with the provided Quantum sync cord for camera sync connection. The device can be conveniently mounted to brackets, dead shoes, and more, with the supplied velcro.

One of the standout features of this Radio Slave 4i is its impressive battery life. With 4 "AA" alkaline batteries, you can enjoy up to 400 hours of power, a significant improvement from the previous 80 hours with two 9-volt batteries. For even longer usage, up to 800 hours can be achieved with 4 "AA" Lithium batteries. The Remote can also be powered using AC power with the 515 Adaptor/Charger.

The device supports sync speeds in Normal Mode of 1/250 sec. Focal Plane Sync and 1/500 sec. Leaf Shutter Sync, and in High-Speed Mode, it supports 1/500 sec. Focal Plane Sync and 1/1000 sec.
