Great, recycle rate with the Turbo 3 and easy get days worth of power when mixing between TTL & manual output. I've had for approx. two years... still going strong. I would recommend to family & friends.

I use it with 2 Vivitar 283s fired together from a bracket as fill for telephoto wildlife shots. Recycles both units quickly (~ 2-3 secs), much, much faster than new AAs. The only unit I know of that might recycle faster is a Lumedyne unit that is roughly comparable in cost but about twice the size and weight. Just received the Turbo 3 and used it one time. So far, so good.

I have used the Quantum Turbo 3 twice since my purchase & it has been fantastic. Before I got it my flash would not make it through a full session of shooting. I recommend this unit & with the rebate, it's a no brainier.

I use this battery for adding fill light in bird photography. When the sun isn't out this battery pack provides instant recycling of the flash to add the catch light in the birds eye. Without the catch light in the birds eye the bird appears dead.

This battery pack is packed with full strength whenever I needed, it will delivers. This product packed with so much strength and quick delivery time that my flash can't keep up when fast multi-shots were taken.

Pro sports photographer that covers indoor basketball, wrestling, ice hockey, night time soccer and football. The Turbo gives my flash fast recovery time for multiple sequential shots. It also has great staying power for all day wrestling tournaments. In the last 10 years this is only the second Turbo that I have needed. Looking forward another 10 years with this one. The only downside is the weight.

I am a photographer at our local dirt tracks. I can't believe that it took me this long (5 years) to purchase this battery pack. I use it with my Nikon SB-910 flash and what a difference it has made in my flash photography. It cycles super fast so I never miss a shot. I couldn't be happier!

My flash would not keep up with shooting 10 - 14 fps even at fill flash settings. Used the turbo battery yesterday shooting some hummingbirds, and with full flash setting got reliable flash at high fps rates. I am pleased with the purchase.

I was using a Quantum Turbo for the last 15 years and it was a good power supply. I have changed the battery once and it lasts for about 400 flashes of average power. Now I purchased a Quantum Turbo III and I am simply amazed. It lasts for more than 1000 flashes. In fact, I recently used the unit three days in a row without recharging at all, took close to 2000 flash photos (fill flash for most) and at the end of the third day of shooting the Turbo III showed that it was still fully charged! WOW! This is a terrific unit!

I used this battery to shoot a wedding last weekend and it performed without any problems. If you have to have an equipment failure you don't want it to be a power source go down in the middle of a wedding, before now that's what happened to me and I was totally sick inside luckly for me I had a backup plan and the interruption was a minor one. Just having the peace of mind not having to worry about if my flash will fail was worth the price of this unit.

This is an expensive alternative to the Canon (and Nikon) external battery packs for the respective Speedlites. But, if recycle time and capacity are important to you, it's well worth the money. The Turbo 3 can easily last an entire day of shooting for most people without breaking a sweat. (as a fashion shooter, I use it for micro-pop fill when reflectors aren't practical, and especially for hi-speed sync. The battery is well made, relatively light weight, with a modest (not rapid) recharge time. One might also consider buying the Quantum Trio Basic as wel (I did), which for many things is a worthwhile replacement for a Canon or Nikon Speedlite. But as with the Turbo 3, this is NOT inexpensive.

The power pack has been great....I shoot local high school sports and the stadiums that do not have good lighting I have to use flash, and the Turbo3 is great and dependable.....I know I put for a "Con" faster recycling time, its fast but maybe I'm asking to much for it being faster.......

for weddings and events where you have to shoot people randomly in low light , it is the best thing out there. if it was a little smaller and less expensive it would have been perfect. becareful not to damage your flash head by using too many full power flashes in a row. quantum provides a "fake" AA battery to put in your speedlite so that it consumes less AA batteries , i couldn't get mine to work!
