Great combination of power and size. Love it. Started using it with Nikon SB800s. Incredible cycle time, a second or less. Then bought a Quantum AF8N and became an instant devotee of bare bulb especially for weddings. Practically no shadow. Same one second or less cycle time. Now I have 3 Quantum QF8Ns with the battery packs. I bought my first one in 2007. Had it rebuilt in 2014 and again in 2021, each time for about $125, a fraction of the cost of a new one. Will it last "forever.?" The service is exceptional. An real live person picks up the phone and she's very knowledgeable and helpful. What corporation does that anymore??? It's nice to know that there are still some companies that make quality products and you actually get what you pay for.

Didn't know what I was getting. I thought it was going to be the big, heavy battery I carried for years. This little thing lasted throughout the entire wedding. I never used my back up.

I have Turbo original, 2x2, SC(s) Use SC the most. I use Qflash Trio at - Half day event with One SC - Full day Wedding with Two SCs If you have bigger Qflash like T5D, it will drain the battery a lot faster than smaller Trio. much lighter than other turbo battery. love it.

I use this battery for when I have a shoot that is not as long as a wedding,about 2-3 hrs, I use my 2x2 turbo for longer shoots & this one as back up while the 2x2 turbo is being charged.Works great for me. The only complaint I have , is that when I ordered it, they did not include the charger? I was very dissapointed.Not good for whom ever filled my order? I did get after allot of aggravation , since I was going out of town to do a shoot in Florida, and I live in Houston. It finally got to me in Florida a day before I really needed it. Thanks for that part.

Turbo SC worked great, first yr of two of operation...now minimum charge time 3 hr's plus for maybe 20 shot's, at various pwr levels.

The size and weigth are a lot better than it's predecessor but the charge... That's another story. With the Quantum Turbo connected to a Canon 580 ex, I was able to shot a standard wedding and still have about 50% charge remaing in the unit. With the new Quantum Turbo SC fully charged I could barely finish a wedding and the baterry was exhausted. If I had known this, I would not have bought it. What I will do, I'll use as a back up or to fire the slave flashes in the studio shots. Not as a main source of power in a wedding. IT CAN NOT HANDLE WEDDINGS!

I have found this to be a great replacement for my Quantum 1+. On my first outing with this battery pack I shot over 1300 photos.

I purchased this product for a photography workshop. The workshop was out of state in a remote area where buying camera gear on the fly was not an option. This product worked great the entire week. It is also light and compact, perfect for travel.

I bought this battery to be used as a back up for my reliable Metz P50...now the Metz is my backup battery. Yep! The quantum is a reliable asset to my kit...I like it a lot.

This battery holds much more charge than the "factory" external battery which I just sold. Quantum makes the best batteries for external power sources that I have ever used.

I would highly suggest this battery pack. It's been very reliable for my Canon 580EX II and it light weight helps me travel light when I'm on location shooting outdoor portraits
