Now that Kodachrome and Velvia are no longer available, this is as good a reversal stock as I've been able to find.

I wish this film had been good because it's getting very hard and something impossible to find Fuji Provia 100F now and it's more expensive than e100. I shot 21 rolls of e100 and I was not happy with the results. The colors off, it is darker at a given exposure, and the film itself is thinner than Provia. The last point is a big problem for me because I mount my own slides using heat-sealed cardboard mounts. E100 often slides out of place before the mounting machine has a chance to seal the mount. My processing lab offered me a free roll of e100 after I had some processing problems and I told them that I didn't want it. This stuff is garbage. If you are a Provia 100F shooter, you will be disappointed.

Excellent and fine grained film. Results as expected with no surprises. Initially back-ordered but Adorama came through and got the film to me before I needed it. Thanks, I'll be back for more

I love the colors of Ektachrome. It's a fantastic film for landscapes, street, portrait, you name it. I use it most for portraits, I think its combination of color rendition and sharpness make it perfect for that use.

In the film days I exclusively used Kodachrome only. I used the 25 and 200 and was always pleased with the results. As Kodachrome ended, I started using Ektachrome because it was better than no film at all. I use digital mostly but for the critical shots film is still the absolute best. Ektachrome is NOT Kodachrome but it does well anyway.

Slide film is king when it comes to colors that are truly accurate. Kodak's Ektachrome manages to show off just how accurate that can be. Shots look the same through your viewfinder as they do in prints. I don't think there's a more true to life film on the market.

The color and grain are both in a really perfect sweet spot for landscapes and still lifes, not too stylized but not too boring. I like the dominant blues. The exposure takes a little practice to perfect, but it's worth it.

I would like to say that this is the best slide film ever! I like the real life results and it scans great. Thank you Kodak and Adriana’s for making this film available.

I am so glad Kodak came back to the market with this newly revised Ektachrome E100 film. It is the best color transparency film I have used, which includes all of the Fuji films and the former Ektachrome. Extreme fine grain, bright well balanced colors and wonderful contrast range. I am very excited it is now offered in medium and large format in addition to 35mm. Great film!

The most beautiful, most forgiving color film I have ever used. Striking color without harsh contrast. Tolerant of over/underexposure.

For the past several years - "post-Kodachrome" - this has been my general purpose 35mm color film. Sharp, the film scans well, renders neutrals well and, most importantly, is a very flattering film to use when shooting people. By all accounts the film is also to be noted for its archival properties - an estimated 80 years-plus when stored properly - continuing a property that Kodak has always excelled at. Given its recent discontinuation, stock up! We transparency shooters will be hard-pressed to find a better - or even an equal - film to replace it!

Accurate colors and great skin tones. It scans better with less magenta then Fuji films.

To the surprise of no one but to the disappointment of many, Kodak today announced that it is "retiring" its legendary Kodachrome slide film. In the end, Kodachrome was killed by digital photography and more convenient E-6 process slide films. Kodak exp...

The best of the best so far.
KODAK PROFESSIONAL EKTACHROME Films E100G and E100GX are the next generation of color transparency films. Both films deliver extremely fine grain (rms 8), a lower D-min for whiter, brighter whites, and an improved tone scale. These films feature the latest advancements in Kodak's Color Amplifying Technology and KODAK T-GRAIN Emulsion Technology to capture light more efficiently.
EKTACHROME E100G Film offers moderately enhanced color saturation with a neutral color balance. EKTACHROME 100GX Film also features moderately enhanced color saturation, but with a warm balance (the "x" is for warm).
Both films produce exceptional results for advertising, fashion, editorial, architecture, nature/wildlife, and other commercial applications.
These films are designed for exposure with daylight or electronic flash.
