It does exactly what it’s intended to do. The only issue I had was there no instructions so it was trial and error to learn it. The plus is it was not too hard. If you can handle manual focus and exposure it’s a good buy as it allows you to use lenses you bought for one camera to be used by another.

I'm using this to mount a Nikon 70-300 G lens on my Fuji X-T1. The Aperture setting works great, but be aware it only has 8 generic stops, so you have to Guesstimate what the actual aperture setting is based on the range of the lens. This was an inexpensive means of getting a 300mm lens on my X-T1. I especially appreciate the tripod mount on the adapter, making it possible to change the camera battery while the X-T1 is mounted on the tripod. Not a perfect solution but high marks for being an inexpensive solution to longer glass on the X-T1

I bought this to use my Nikon lenses on my new Fuji X-E2. It works well, the machining and material appear to be top notch. This being the first lens adapter I ever used limits my ability to compare with other adapter manufacturers. The price of $140 does appear to be quite high compared to other adapters I viewed later, but again I don't know of the quality of other lens adapters. Also no instructions or any other printed literature came with this adapter. My recommendation is to do more comparison shopping before settling on this unit, you find an equally good unit for a far lesser price.

This seems to be a good work around for using Nikon glass on the E2. OK, it's a manual focus but with the Fuji assist, it works pretty well. You want to be careful not to hang some super heavy lens on the front mount of the Fuji without using the tripod ring which comes with it or you could be asking for trouble.

I love this adapter. I had considered going with the SpeedBooster version, but decided that the cost of this one was more my taste. It's solid and very simple to use. Plug it into your Fuji X Mount camera set to shoot with the lens off, you are ready to put your favorite Nikkor lens on it and go. The Aperture ring is pretty straight forward. Set it to 8 and set your lens, if possible to its smallest aperture size, lock it if it locks, then plug it into the adapter. The Aperture ring on the adapter should now have control of the aperture in the lens. If you set it to F, you should be able to control the aperture on the lens itself if it has an aperture ring. I like the tripod stand, as it gives a solid place to anchor some of those larger lenses. But it can be removed as well if it's not to your liking. The view you get with this adapter is very similar to the view you'd get on a Nikon digital body like a D70 or D90. So your super wides and fisheyes will get a little crop vs their use on film Nikon bodies. But to me it's something I am used to from film vs digital bodies anyway. It also stacks nicely with other adapters if you wish to experiment. It has a very tight fit and feels precision, well made and like it would hold up a pretty sizable lens. I don't miss the corrective glass for full frame function on lenses or the extra stop of light. I thinks it perfect as it is.
