Great Product

I bought one of these to use with my 2 Mitros+ flash units and it works flawlessly. I am able to set each flash on a separate channel if I need to control them separately. Although I have not used it yet I love the fact that I can setup a digital ID with this unit. It is so easy to control my flash with this I don't know what I would do without it.

Great Product

I had the Phottix Odin TTL Flash trigger, but upgraded to this one and it is so much better. Very easy to adjust the phower of your flash, plush there is an over all power compensation setting that will apply to all OCF's that you are triggering. It is so easy to adjust each group with a simple button push and I lover that I can turn off the groups that I am not using to make the display easier to read. If you use Phottix OCF you need this trigger.

Great upgrade to the original Odin

I have two of the original Odin transmitters for Nikon cameras that have performed flawlessly. After seeing the layout of the Odin II, I decided to pick one up as my primary transmitter. The ergonomics and control layout are improved over the original units, while the performance has been just as dependable. Nice upgrade!

Great products, customer service & shipping department

Needed help with my wife's birthday gift. She is the professional photographer. Wanted to surprise her. Called customer service and they explained my options and cost. Recommend the perfect equipment. Wife was totally surprised and could not believe I picked out the right equipment. Only after her wonderful praise of my knowledge and being so thankful did I tell her about all the help I got from Adorama!!! She was still thrilled with me Thanks Adorama!!!

Great all round flash trigger

I switched from Pocket Wizards because I can control my flashes all with one device. I purchased the Indra 500 system and I can control these lights and my Nikon flashes with the same trigger. This system gives me a great deal of flexability. The Phottix system is very reliable. Hook it up and start shooting.

Love this receiver!

I have been playing with this receiver only for a few days but I can already tell you this thing ROCKS! The build quality is extremely good unlike 99% of the cheap crappy brands out there, its definitely worth the price if you value ruggedness and good design. One of my favorite things that Phottix did very right is that I can easily read the display, which is sometimes a challenge for me since I am at the point I need reading glasses to read typical print at reading distance. I have very little problem reading this without my glasses. I have tested this unit with the Odin II trigger and they work flawlessly together. The speed-lights I have tested with are the Nikon SB800 and also the Adorama Streaklight 360 iTTL for Nikon. They have both worked perfectly. I see no downside to this receiver at all. The only thing that Phottix could do to improve their overall brand, would be to offer the Odin II trigger and receivers in something other than 2.4Ghz, since that frequency is so saturated with everything else that uses the same frequency such as Bluetooth, microwave ovens, other brands of photography triggers, etc... this is such as crowded frequency range it would be nice to have another in case you run into interference in a busy shooting area. THIS IS NOT A FLAW with this product, just mentioning that the same product offered in one more frequency to avoid such issues (when encountered) is something that every professional photographer would love.

Intuitive operation, worked on the first try

I was very pleased with the Odin transmitter and receiver. The operation was very intuitive, and the products worked on the first try. They work with my SB 700, my Mitros+, and even my old 283s and 285HVs! The TCU has a clean and comprehensive interface. Fewer components than some systems, and far more reliable than a cheap Chinese system I recently tried. Gets my recommendation!

The trigger itself seems really good!

The trigger itself seems really good! My only issue is not with the trigger itself, but as of June 16 of 2016 Phottix does not seem to have a code update for the Indra500 to let it take advantage of the extra capabilities over the original Odin trigger. I have tested this new trigger with the Mitros+ speed lights which do have microcode that supports the extra features of the Odin II and they work perfectly.

Works out of the box!

I couldn't wait over a year for the Odin II, so I bought an Odin v1 to use with LP180Rs built in triggers. When these finally came out I disliked that I can only use the three Odin I groups but wanted these for SB800s and AD360II (300W TTL Streaklights). The work great! If I ever need more groups or the Odin II improved interface these will work fine long term also. :-)

Bringing the power and control of the Phottix ecosystem to pentax users
Phottix's flagship Odin II TTL Flash Triggering system has added a new transmitter control unit (TCU) compatible with Pentax cameras. Developed with direct cooperation from Pentax engineers at Ricoh Imaging in Japan, the Phottix Odin II for Pentax brings the power, control and ease of use of the Phottix TTL lighting ecosystem to Pentax users. Tested extensively with the Pentax 645Z Medium Format DSLR Camera and the ground-breaking Pentax K-1 DSLR, the Phottix Odin II gives Pentax users more creative control over their art.

Harness the Power of the Phottix Ecosystem
The Phottix Lighting Ecosystem System offers solutions for every photographer, from lighting minimalists to studio professionals. With the Odin II for Pentax, users can trigger and control the power level of the Indra 500TTL Battery Powered Studio Light in both TTL and Manual modes as well as adjust the modeling lamp all from the top of their camera. Also compatible are the newly introduced Juno Manual Speedlight and receivers from the Phottix Odin, Strato II, Atlas II and Ares II flash trigger systems.

Tame the Sun and Ambient Light
The Odin II allows Pentax users the ability to use High Speed Sync and shoot at speeds of up to 1/8000s on compatible cameras. When paired with the Phottix Indra500 TTL, shutter speeds are no longer a limitation.

Enjoy an Interface Built for Photographers By Photographers
The Odin II for Pentax user interface was built off feedback from photographers across the globe. Features such as individual buttons for each group - A, B,C, D, E and an analog thumbwheel give users quick and direct access to their strobes from the top of their camera when they need it most.

Stand Out from the Crowd
The Odin II features 32 channels as well as a Digital ID function to completely eliminate interference and outside triggering. Digital ID is a four digit code that secures the connection between compatible Phottix products and will only allow triggering signals from products using the same four-digit Digital ID code. Now there is far less to worry about when shooting in crowded situations like sporting events or concerts.
