Works perfectly. Very convenient. Great product.

Easy to hook up and use. Works and connects to iPad automatically. Now my old Yamaha Clavinova CLP-300 can connect to and control my iPad. I use it to play softsynths and other instruments in garage band and other software. Works perfectly with no glitches. Having so much fun with it.

Solid Performer Works Great

I use this with Bandhelper to change kits as we move through our set list. My changes are per song, amd the switch on my Alesis Strike is immediate.

Great MIDI ADAPTOR MD-BT01 for MAC OS and Logic Pro

At first you won't see the BT in your regular BT on your mac.... But You can remotely connect your midi, keyboard or arranger workstation with the Yamaha MD-BT01 Wireless Midi Adaptor directly into your DAW on your Mac. However some tricky configuration might be required depending upon your Macbook device. We had to go through a hidden channel. Look up on youtube for the video titled " HOW TO USE AND CONNECT YAMAHA WIRELESS MIDI ADAPTOR MD-BT01 TO A MACBOOK PRO & LOGIC PRO : SOLVED!" it will provide you some help. Beside the connectivity trouble. we are overall very please. It works as intended.

Latency not acceptable for Piano

I bought this dongle and plugged it into my Yahama U1 Silent Piano. It's paired with an iPad. Although it works, the latency is too high for realtime playback. It "works" - but I would say there is about a 50-80ms latency (i.e. time between pressing a key until sound is generated). This makes it near impossible to play music in time using apps like GarageBand or Cubasis.

Amazing...

Well, once word gets out about the new Yamaha Bluetooth midi connector for ios, used clavinova prices are going to soar. I picked one up, plugged it into my clavinova clp-360, the connector power lit, and I was on my way. What foresight in the clavinova design to include powered, 5-pin midi interfaces. Connecting to iOS was like passing through a portal to another world. The sounds, the sequencers, the instructional apps, incredible... Anyone want to buy a used Clavinova (Just Kidding!)

Doesn't appear in available MIDI devices in compatible Win10

I was excited to get this product after my new laptop didn't have the type of receptor for my old MIDI cord. While my computer does recognize it (and some 64-bit utilities/games will recognize it), other applications, such as MuseScore, or utilities like JACK2, don't "see" it.

Wanted this to work so bad!

I wanted this to work so bad! I just bought a Novation Impulse 61 and the BT01 wouldn't even light up when I plugged it in. I tried plugging it into my older Axiom 49 and it lit up right away without a problem. But if it doesn't work with the Impulse, its not going to work for me, unfortunately. I am going to have to return it back to Sweetwater. While I'm sad about it, the price isn't too high that I can't just buy it again in the future if anything changes with its compatibility. Maybe I will revisit in the future. But in the meantime, I'm afraid it's going to be packed up and shipped back :(

Love the it, but it dosen't work everything

Love the product, it's fast and easy to use BUT it doesn't work with my Roland PC-180, so it's after all not compatable with all keyboards
