Excellent replacement male audio connector. (Application - Headphone plug replacement.)

This 3.5mm TRS male audio connector was used to replace the one on my Sony MDR-V6 stereo headphones. To keep the phones close to original, I transferred the Sony barrel and associated insulator parts to this connector. You will need a heat gun aiding the removal of the barrel as Sony used a thread lock. Both barrel threads are the same. The connector has threads for a screw on 1/4 inch male adapter. Wire terminations require soldering. Results turned out very nice with the only difference being the replacement plug is gold plated and that's fine with me.
