Excellent adjustable mould

I needed an adjustable mold for my .50 Remington Navy, to produce bullets around 300 grains, and .512 diameter. This mold produced good bullets from the very first pour. You have to use some common sense. Clean it very well before use, and don't set the mold in the lead to warm up. If you get molten lead on the bottom, it will screw up the parts which need to slide easily when you open the mold. Modified a Lyman sizing die to .512, loaded them up, and fired away! This thing worked great!

The RCBS 1-Cavity Minie Ball Bullet Mold, .520 Hodgdon Adjustable Grain is machined from solid cast iron blocks to exacting specifications to ensure accurate, clean, repeatable castings cast after cast. The blocks are precision ground square prior to machining and steel alignment pins are used to ensure perfect mating of mould blocks even after years of heavy use. The RCBS mould block feature a 3/16" thick sold steel sprue plate held tightly in place with tempered steel spring washers and screws. Mould handles not included and must be purchased separately.
