The cylinder looks OK, but the metering stem seems the numerals got double stamped. Not happy about that. It'd almost like there are blurred.

These are nicely made from hardened steel. They cut cleanly and will last a very long time. Thumbs up!

The small cylinder has helped with control of powder amounts. I am using the old Unique powder which is hard to control due to being a flake powder. Along with powder baffle it has improved the control of my powder loads for 380acp which are under 4 grains of powder.

Have used this powder measure for pistol loads, works great. I bought mine with the large powder measure but it doesn't meter down far enough for pistol loads.

Have used the RCBS Uniflow for years, but difficulty throwing small charges of Unique consistently. The small cylinder just purchased solved this problem. Now can thrown 4grs +/- 0.1 gr. Very satisfied with this item.

I have been an RCBS fan for decades and have used the Uniflow meter for all calibers even for pistol charges in the 5 grain range. It has ALWAYS been accurate but I finally wanted to try the pistol cylinder anyway. It swapped out easily and seems to be very accurate with small charges even with Bullseye below 5 grains. If anyone uses the Uniflow meter with ONLY the large cylinder, do NOT be afraid to throw small charges as it's still very accurate, but I would not recommend super light throws without the pistol cylinder. Ball powders meter like water and I load MANY 5.5 grain Unique loads accurately with the large cylinder.

I'm brand new to using a powder dropper so I'm not sure if the inconsistencies were me or the device but I would recommend buying this for handgun loads any day. For precision loads you can throw a charge, put it on the scale and trickle in the correct amount. Good product so far and I look forward to using it for years!!!

I bought the RCBS Uniflow Powder Measure (Standard) to replace a same model that was 40 years old and was showing its age. The standard drum was too large to throw the small powder charges necessary to load some pistol rounds. The smaller drum is a must for these loads, but is large enough to load some rifle rounds, as well. Installation was easy. It handles ball and flake powders flawlessly, but it will cut cylindrical powders, resulting in charge deviations. The best way to fix this is to throw a charge a couple of grains shy of the desired load and use a powder trickler to top it off.

RCBS Uniflow Powder Measure is a solidly constructed powder measure that throws consistently accurate powder charges. The RCBS Uniflow Powder Measure Small Cylinder Assembly is useful for reloaders who are throwing small powder charges and will convert the standard Uniflow Powder Measure in to a Small Capacity unit. Measuring cylinder has precision ground surfaces and slides into the honed main casting for a precision fit. The cylinder will work equally well with ball, flake and extruded powders.
