True magnetic dampening completes the picture to allow fast, stable and accurate readings. The critical beam pivots are steel-on-steel, not steel-on-aluminum like another company uses. The pivot bearings are cylindrical for the smallest possible contact area -- ensuring better accuracy. The RC-130 weighs to 130 grains with an accuracy of 0.1 grain. The sturdy base and easy-to-read index bar are molded from tough ABS polymer. The non-static powder pan with integral hanger allows easy transfer of powder to the cartridge case.
