Good product, poor service.

The primer catch is identical to the original except for the color. The first one lasted 40 years. Their "World Class Customer Support" was not as stated. I received only one notification when the order was placed that they charged my credit card with a tracking number that never worked. Their prices and shipping are higher than their distributors. Twice I waited 30 mins to talk to customer support concerning my order status and first time purchase 10% discount. They wouldn't honor the discount and said next time. Enough said. I will probably shop elsewhere in the future unless RCBS is the only place that has what I need.

Yes it does catch primers.

My only thought was, why isn't it GREEN? Not that the color makes the slightest difference in how it works, but what happened to the green machine? Did John Deere threaten to sue unless you made them a different color?

Still a good catcher

Have the original from the early 80's that came with dad's press. The bar across the back had been missing for 30+ years now and the paper clip just wasn't working properly anymore. Real happy to this replacement as there are so much fewer spent primers on the floor.

It does its job, until it wears out.

It is a slip on fit, and it is plastic. The foreseeable problem is the the constant movement causing friction, which causes wear on the plastic, the looser it gets, the sloppier the fit is, the less efficient the catcher. My RCBS Jr, which I purched in 1965, came with a cast aluminum primer catcher. This primer catcher functions today as well as that long past day million rounds ago. I can not believe that would raise the purchase price of a reloading set, would it? .

Spent Primers everywhere

Installed on a used Rock Chucker. Hate those little tiny spent primers all over the floor. They go every direction and are difficult to find.
