I've been reloading for 63 years. This is the press I wish I had 63 years ago, if I had it then I'd still have it now. This is a press I would've designed for myself. The only change I would make would be to add a counter weight so the die holder would stop and maintain any position it is stopped in and not drop. I would like to see RCBS make a counterweight as an accessory for this press. Thank you for making such fine equipment.

This thing is a tank and will size the largest cases. I have owned mine for a few years now 4 or 5 i'm not sure. It has sized thousands of large magnum caliber rounds down to . 222 I can't remember when i bought it but I wanted a solid compact coaxial single stage and this checked off all the right boxes. I did sadly break it right after I bought it but RCBS sent out a new part with in days and it's not failed since. The other day I was sizing some 7MM Rem mag cases and snapped the handle and in true RCBS fashion, no questions they sent out a new one free of charge no questions. I realize stuff breaks. it's a part of life. it's how the company handles it and RCBS like a true American company stands behind their products. I have alot of gear from RCBS because of that one simple fact.

I have owned a RCBS Summit for three years. I shoot rifles and handguns and reload quite a bit. I have been reloading now for 54 years and bought the Summit press as it was very SOLID. I reload pistol bullets from ACP 32 up to S&W 500 Magnum and rifles from 223 up to Weatherby 460 magnum. The summit makes quick work of handgun loads using the short handle and the larger cases on rifles on 300 WM, 338 WM and 469 Weatherby using long handle is a breeze. I have nothing but praise for the Summit press at it is one solid press and will last a lifetime. After I pass on my daughter will use it and pass it on to Grand Daughter. My daughter was given my older Rock Chucker press that has loaded thousands of rounds. Quality is RCBS. Dr Dave. Utah

Looked like a brute on the website, and it is a brute! Sweet action. The weight is a plus for sizing, and only a minus for carrying (My shop is a bit crammed). I doubt there is a better press available. Love the zerk, though I had to hunt for a grease gun. I highly recommend the Summit--your great-grandchildren, and everyone in between, will get a lifetime of use of it.

Does everything one would expect from RCBS. When re-sizing and de-capping the long handle is my choice. When seating bullets the shorter handle works best for my application

This dispenser is very accurate. It definitely helps my process. Better instructions for tuning with the app would be very helpful though. A video tutorial on the app is needed.

Well built, nice smooth up & down action, no need for under bench space, quality product. Easy to service. and use. Ability to swap out handles to smaller version for bullet seating is a great idea. Performance A1.

The open front design without a post in front gives me easier access to the shell and better visibility when seating the bullets.

Works good a majority of the time but occasionally it has trouble staying calibrated and is sensitive to flourecent lighting. Overall worth the buy when it isn't being finicky.

easy to operate and smooth like silk press strokes. minimal assembly required, only installing the handle, shell holder and dies are necessary.

Hands down the most accurate reliable press I own and have owned. Small footprint, built like a bank vault. Reloads with precision accuracy, huge working window, smooth operation. If I could only own one press, this would be it.

This press is smooth as a baby's behind. I haven't loaded a lot of rounds with it yet, but I think this will be my go-to press.

I purchased the MatchMaster after owning an older RCBS unit. It has proven very easy to use It throws my charges quickly and efficiently. The Bluetooth ability using my cellphone is a great convenience. This has definitely been a great choice. The only issue that I have is the powder drain, while on the bottom of the unit, is very awkward to use and monitor. Then when the main reservoir is drained, there is still the powder in the charging tubes. Still a great buy.

I would not recommend this unit because the drain system is mush less useful than the less expensive units.

just recently purchased had it about 3days ran about 1000 rds thought it very pleased with accuracy but little disappointed with the cheap hood could of had it integrate with the unit and a little disappointed with the powder grains jumping out of pan would think with this cost of there top of line product that would of been taking care of probably a simple fix by putting a absorbent material in pan but still overall meet expectations but little high on cost expected a little more from rcbs products.

I hand load new and used brass. I use a 5-10-5 RCBS POWDER SCALE for 40 years. I load to the exact 10th of a grain. No plus or minus 1/10 th of a grain weight. There are other factors in case dimension length, full resize, or neck resize, primer cleaner, primer type, and smokeless powder type that effect 1/2" to 1" MOA Bullet placement. I am anal of every step of the process. I hand load new brass or cleaned, resized brass, primed, weighing each powder load in the RCBS 5-10-5 scale. Up to 100 rounds in a day. I'll stay with my old method.

I am extremely happy with this powder measure. I am going to get another and sell my A&D with the auto trickler.

Good solid build but you cannot use the bullet puller die with this press. The installation of dies is a little awkward.

I use this as a portable range press and well worth every penny! Overall built is outstanding, RCBS quality fit and finish. While it is pure solid metal, that's also its down side (heavy), but that's the only negative that I have. If you use this as a bench press and bolt it down for good, then the weight doesn't matter. One of the best single stage I've owned that create consistent and concentric cartridge. Some people complain about the loose linkage... They are meant to be loose! The TOGGLE, TOGGLE PINS, LINKAGE, LINK PINS, and BOW WASHERS are loose fit to allow the DIE PLATE to float, ergo it auto-align to the SHELL HOLDER ADAPTOR, hence the concentric product! Upon receiving the item, I torn the press down to the last nut and bolt and cleaned with Hoppe's then coated the entire thing with CLP. It's buttery smooth and the screws (x4) that holds the RAM into the BASE hasn't come loose since (10k of .308, 30k of .223, 2k of 6.5C & 7k of .50AE) so far so good!

I recently added this unit to my equipment. I have been using an original Rock Chucker since the early 70's. I read several criticisms on this unit and many other compliments. I'm with the latter. I've now loaded rounds from .223 through 300 Win without issue or ease of use. It's a keeper.

This was initially suppose to be an upgrade from my old Chargemaster 1500 ( which gave up the ghost after 15 years). Faster dispensing. Combined trickler and potentially programmability. A total in excess of 1K dispensed rounds were tested over the period. Unfortunately, no consistent - repeatable results with this particular piece of equipment. The biggest issue(s) are: Consistency = repeatability These affect two significant components: the time and number of "dispenses" to achieve a particular number of reloads. The average of 20% overthrows meant that those loads could not be used. Debatable whether the 4% variance (.04 grains +/-) in "Match Mode" threshold would be met. I understand the vagaries of Varget (extruded) powder along with the environment. Ultimately I could not consistently reproduce any of the batch testing results. Nor could I improve on the "better" batches. Batches were based on reprogramming/fine tuning of various parameters within the powder configurations. I ended up returning the unit. However, I must stress my disappointment. I have been a long standing customer of RCBS (reloading components) - over twenty years. The Matchmaster was the largest single purchase and supposed to be the most technologically advanced. It turned out that it did not meet the minimum manufacturer specifications and utter frustration trying to program and obtain those aforementioned specifications. Specific to the BT app: If a custom powder configuration is programmed on the Matchmaster ( and not the app) it can not be modified in the app subsequently - only on the Matchmaster.

Utilizzo la pressa RCBS SUMMIT da quattro anni ormai, e penso che sia uno dei migliori prodotti in commercio, sinceramente non la cambierei con nient'altro. Congratulazioni RCBS.

I got my new summit press yesterday. Ordered through Amazon. I have been using RCBS reloading equipment for over 40 years. I was disappointed to discover that 6 of my 10 shell holders would not fit into the press. I even removed the spring locking pin to see if that was the issue. There is a difference in my older shell holders that will nt allow them to slip into the holder. The 4 newest holders will slide right in with little effort. Now I need to track down shell holders, 2, 3, 10, 16, 18 and 30 to be ready to use the press. Overall the press looks great and I am excited to put it to use but did not expect the shell holder issue.

Ironically - my Uniflow powder measure + 5-10 scale were more reliable. It is unfortunate that both the 5-10 and 10-10 are no longer available. Took a while until the unit was available here in Germany (just 7 months). However, it was worth waiting. Great quality, easy to operate, superb accuracy. Highly recommendable if you are focused on best results.
Most accurate main line press on the market!

Size a case in this press then size another case in any other press out there including the Forster co-ax and this press beats them hands down! Less run out on sized necks and seated bullets! I love this press! Must be the slop or play in the moving joints that allow this press to self align. Whatever it is makes this press the most accurate out there!
When it comes to reloading ammunition with precision and accuracy, the RCBS Summit Single Stage Press stands out as a top choice. This sturdy and reliable reloading press is compatible with standard 7/8"-14 threaded dies and 1" die bodies (with adapters sold separately), providing the versatility needed for various reloading tasks.
The Summit Single Stage Press boasts an innovative design that mounts the entire press to the top of the bench, uniquely lowering the die down to the case. This design, coupled with its steel linkage and cast iron frame, ensures stability and durability, making it a heavy-duty tool that can withstand years of serious reloading.
The solid construction of this RCBS press allows for exceptional precision and accuracy, which are crucial for accurate hand-loading. With a generous 4.5" opening, it provides ample room for sizing even the largest cases that reloaders need to handle.
The press features a massive 2" diameter ram equipped with a Zerk fitting for easy lubrication, enhancing its longevity and performance. It also caters to both right and left-handed reloaders with its ambidextrous design. Additionally, the spent primer catcher is conveniently located under the Shellholder, making cleanup a breeze.
In summary, the RCBS Summit Single Stage Press is a high-quality, durable, and user-friendly tool that simplifies the reloading process while ensuring top-notch results.
