I bought the brass boss & it came with the VLD chamfer tool. It really does put a nice angle on the mouth of your case & bullets seat so much smoother. Then, when you crimp it just closes that lip onto the bullet nicely. I've chamfered easily 3,000 rounds and mine is still going strong. The best part about the VLD chamfer tool is the concentricity of your finished cartridges are all extremely concentric. Most have zero to 0.001 run out. I measured concentricity on a thousand cartridges before I got the VLD and they were way more out-of-round. After I got the VLD tool almost every round is perfectly concentric. If you are thinking of getting the VLD don't hesitate. It is far superior than the non-VLD tools.
