Review Summary

I've owned everything from a jr. and first version RC to all types of turrets and progressives over the past 40 years. I took a day to clean my presses and when I got to the supreme I was amazed at the attention to detail and quality of the casting as well as overall design I have taken for granted over the years since buying it. There was no comparison! the Oranges and reds on my bench had casting flaws along with poor ram fit in a new orange one and overall they had design flaws. The old RC supreme was so well sanded and finished that it appeared machined rather than a casting and the difference in design was readily apparent. The RC IV is a superior machine in every way and this cleaning session has me wanting to replace everything else I have with a similar RCBS product. I hope RCBS never stops offering this level of craftsmanship! it seems all the other companies are cutting corners today. This is also the smoothest operating press on the market and properly cared for is a lifetime purchase. I highly recommend this press as well as anything bearing the RCBS moniker as they also have the very best customer service myself and my son have ever dealt with.

I received the Rock Chucker Supreme Press but have not had time to completely go through the reloading process yet. Prior to receiving the new equipment, I have a RC II that I used for a very long time until it worn causing excessive runout when resizing rifle brass. However, I have been able to run some resized brass back through the same die in the RCSP, so far it has made a BIG difference. Some of the brass had .004" to .006" runout and now has .0005" to .001". I can't wait to reload from start to finish and write another review about the complete process and experience. I may try making a short video going through the complete process with photos of shot groups.

I started reloading in 1975, using a RCBS Junior press because that is what I could afford. I've resized many large rifle cases with much downward force, but it worked. Today, I can afford an upgrade like the Rock Chucker Supreme. I have always wanted one. Now I have it. I'm thankful that RCBS kept this product for so many years.

It's a good press but frankly, I don't feel it is any better than my old RCBS Junior. I had to replace the old press after only 300,000 thousand rounds were created on it. RCBS products have always been my goto for anything reloading. After I got this new Rockchuker I still had to buy a way to handle more than one primer at a time and a better way to get rid of the old primers and RCBS has good cures for this as well. I've only had a chance to load about 500 rounds so far but everything works great!

Today i called technical service to see if i could purchase a primer small rifle charging replacement. The punch to seat the primer had failed. I had purchased this press in 1976 and had reloaded thousands of rounds with it . They had redesigned the priming arm from a set screw to a screw in punch. So I asked if I could order a new arm they said yes and said they would send it to me FREE OF CHARGE because they could not provide the replacement part. Who else in AMERICA would do that for a fifty year old press. Here's to you. Buy American. Thanks to you, JSR Heres to you

The Rock Chucker is a workhorse, I have used an original Rock Chucker for over 40 years without any problems (other than primer/powder shortages) and can recommend this press to all.

I am new to reloading and I wanted to get a good, but economical reloading press. I was recommended RCBS Rock Chucker Supreme. This is a great press and I got it for under $100 on a Black Friday deal!

I bought my Rock Chucker in 1977 and have loaded thousands and thousands of rounds. The ram still has zero side play, and almost none in the linkage. Great piece of equpment.

I've had my Rock Chucker for so long, I don't even remember when I bought it, but it's been at least 25 years. I've used it as a go to for all of my reloading projects from .32 all the way up to some JDJ wildcats. The simplicity of the Rock Chucker is genius, and the forging will withstand anything I've ever used to abuse. I have other presses, but the Rock Chucker is the gold standard. Beyond the versatility and strength of the Rock Chucker, the materials used in the construction are top notch. All of my years and many tens of thousands of loads, not a speck of rust anywhere. The actions is smooth as it was, maybe even smoother then the day I bought it.

The Rock Chucker is by far the best single stage press on the market for the money. Bar NONE!!! It is great as a beginner press or for the competitive shooter or the Long Distance Shooter! You are only limited my the reloaders knowledge of our hobby!!!! You will never be disappointed by it's performance!! Plus it is backed by RCBS's "NO BS WARRENTY" for life!!!

Moving from a Lee press this is well built and well engineered , my loads are far more consistent any and easy to resize and head. My only gripe would be the primer handling is not the best , but for the annoyance I can live with as the accuracy of the loads is greatly increased, thinking of a summit press to move to arbour loading dies for my match ammo Highly recommend rcbs produxts

The construction is very solid and operation is extremely smooth. This Rock Chucker Supreme is definitely engineered with precision. Compared to an entry-level unnamed brand, this press doesn't have a shakiness or flimsy feel, and the price is reasonable.

I spoke with Larry in customer service this afternoon, 9/29/2021, he was exceptional. I've been reloading with the rockchucker supreme kit since 2013 and try as I might to beat RCBS customer service, they are bar none. No questions asked replacement after I admitted that the fault was mine multiple times. The man deserves a raise and I'll pay the little extra for RCBS quality and customer service every time. Well done guys.

Bought a used Rock Chucker that's like new. Now I'm back where I was several years ago. This old beast will do it all. Better!!!

Always wanted one and when acquiring some 1-!/4"x12 dies I decided to get one. Well built and very powerful press for full length sizing of large caliber brass. De-priming brass is effortless with the this press and the large dies and little effort required for full length sizing. Make brass preparation very easy. Press is very well built, fit and finish is perfect.
