I received my new Rock Chucker Supreme Press and Auto Prime attachment, but have not had time to use it, however I did manage to bench mount it and set up the AP attachment. After reading several reviews about the AP I have to agree with the majority, the instructions are not the best written, they are a bit confusing. The photos helped tremendously, but they could have been a little larger/sharper, each step referred to a photo. The components were packaged in order by the steps you needed them, but packages should have been numbered in case you open the box and dump everything out. After mounting the AP to the press, it was a little tedious adjusting it to be aligned with the slot in the ram to operate as designed. Taking time and making small adjustments I succeeded in having it operate smoothly. I'll be able to tell more when I begin to prime brass which leads into a hand-eye coordination skill-set that will take some getting used to. During the assembly and mounting process, I immediately realized the larger press opening and longer ram to accommodate large magnum cartridges and also the location of where the handle attaches to the pivot/toggle point, which should give more leverage. Prior to ordering the RCSP and AP I've been using a RC II with an automatic primer that had served me well for about 25 years until the ram worn causing excessive runout resizing rifle brass. Comparing the new to the old these are great improvements and I can't wait to start using it.
