ONE OF THE PRIMER ARMS ON THE MARKET

Primer Arm

Replacement was very simple. Only tool used was a punch to push out pin, installed arm then re-install pin by hand. Fits good and feels very smooth with good spring tension. It should work really well with the new auto primer feed combo that I also replaced. I sure wish this system came on the new RCS press.

I purchased RCBS Jr press in 1964 a primer arm came with the original loading press. About two weeks ago the primer seater hole in the arm fatiqued and broke. I returned it to RCBS and they immediately sent me a replacement under the fifty-eight year old warranty. That is real service and pride in a great product!

Primer arm fit perfectly in a used Rock Chucker that was given to me but had some missing parts.

Quality As Usual

Replacement for parts lost or damaged due to tornado. This item hasn't changed much in 40 years. It's good to be able to get replacement parts for a 40 year old press. RCBS has helped me tremendously in repair and replacement of my reloading gear.

Items fit but one package was short the small primer plunger.

I bought this to replace my original primer arm on my Rockchucker II since I broke off the primer plug somehow (don't ask me how I did that), this fit perfectly. I prime from a bench mounted automatic priming tool but I like to keep all my equipment in good working order.

With the shell holder throat facing rearward, insert shell casing and hold with left index finger. Raise ram and push primer arm and primer into ram with left thumb. Finally, bring ram down to insert primer. This may look a little odd, but the "pinching" action of between index finger and thumb is very intuitive.
