it works real good, i'm an older American and love to reload from start to finish. I switched from a progressive press to the rock chucker. which gave me more control of the things i was doing. i get a lot of brass from ranges and i plug away at decapping, resizing, polishing and then put primers in.

I am on my third spring since I purchased my rock chucker 2 back in 1980. The first spring broke after 40+ years of operations. The second spring was lost after the set screw loosened up (I still have hope of finding that spring one of these days). The third spring is working great so far. I expect it to last for years but time will tell.

Screws into universal primer arm so all parts become captive. Top of the plug has a small crossed-drill hole so you can a small punch to tighten or remove. Only a small amount of torque is needed.

I lost the spring that came with my press while trying to change from large to small primers and needed to get a new one. The new one works great, I also used the new parts so now I have some spares. The spring is very small and once it gets away from you it is very hard to find.
