I had an Okidata 5200 for 8 years, and after it died I went with the Ricoh and I like it a lot more. Set up was easy: install driver's, turn it on, automatic detection, done.  It turns on faster than the Oki and is ready to print in seconds, then goes into standby mode after printing and is silent. I printed a test document and it automatically printed on both sides of page, that was cool. Doesn't get as hot as older printers, runs very cool and quiet. This might be due to the LED's used as lamps in this model. I ordered an extra paper tray that didn't come with instructions. Called Ricoh, Tech told me to place the printer on the paper tray and turn it on, reinstall drivers, done. Kudos to Ricoh on a quality printer.  
      On a side note, the first model of this I received arrived damaged.  I called Ricoh Tech support, and when he could not resolve it over the phone, he said a tech would call me.  Next day a local tech emails me asking when he can come over.  An hour later, he's at my door, looks at unit and verifies that it was damaged in shipping, gives me his card and says send it back. Adorama takes it back no problem, and a new one arrives a few days later.  Everything is working fine now.
