The V-RAPTOR camera is equipped with the fastest cinema quality scan time, 2x faster than any previous RED camera. This reduces artifacts, produces high frame rates, and achieves maximum image quality. It also boasts the highest dynamic range ever, with over 17 stops, ultimate exposure protection, smooth highlights roll-offs, the cleanest shadows, and unmatched low-light performance.
The modernized DSMC3 platform I/O array is robust and professional, featuring 2x 4K 12G-SDI outputs, XLR audio with phantom power capability, 1080p wireless livestream, and a USB-C interface for remote control, Ethernet offload, and more. It also includes Genlock, TimeCode-In, GPIO and CTRL (RS-232) via the integrated 9-Pin Ext Port.
The integrated control display is easy to navigate, offering comprehensive control, in-camera format selection, customized buttons, status updates, and more. The design is rugged and durable, water and dust resistant, and uses standardized and high-performing CF Express Raptor media for the best reliability and performance possible.
