For professional photographers and videographers seeking the next level of camera technology, the KOMODO-X Camera Production Pack, complete with a Rigid Hinge LCD and V-Mount, offers an unparalleled experience. The KOMODO-X is the latest advancement in the KOMODO series, boasting increased frame rates, an expanded dynamic range, and enhanced usability.

The KOMODO-X is equipped with a 6K S35 Global Shutter sensor, similar in size to the original KOMODO, but with a complete redesign and significant architectural improvements. These enhancements result in superior detail and color in shadows, along with double the frame rates at 6K 80P and 4K 120P, making the KOMODO-X an indispensable tool for creative professionals.

The KOMODO-X's body and I/O have been upgraded for professional workflows, sharing many features with the DSMC3 line, while still maintaining the compact KOMODO form factor. An integrated micro V-Lock allows for direct attachment of professional micro V-Lock batteries, eliminating the need for adapters. It is also compatible with the upcoming RED Pro I/O Module, providing auxiliary power and compatibility with full-sized V-Lock and Gold Mount batteries.

The KOMODO-X features a reinforced RF lens mount with a locking mechanism, providing the stability and rigidity professionals require, while maintaining the flexibility of toolless switching between multiple lens mount types. It is fully compatible with /i PL lenses using the RED RF to PL Adapter.

The KOMODO-X is designed to seamlessly integrate into any professional workflow, thanks to features like 12G SDI, full-sized DC-IN, USB Type-C, and a phantom powered locking audio connector. It supports the DSMC3 RED 5-Pin to Single 3.5mm Adapter for existing KOMODO microphones, or the DSMC3 RED 5-Pin to Dual XLR Adapter for general purpose XLR microphones.

An integrated 2.9" LCD provides simplified control and image preview in compact setups. For more precise monitoring, the KOMODO-X supports the DSMC3 RED Touch 7.0" LCD, offering a daylight viewable, high-resolution, camera top monitor and control solution without the clutter of cables.

The KOMODO-X is a robust platform for any IP-based workflow, from virtual production to live broadcast. With an integrated USB Type-C connection and built-in Wi-Fi, you can remotely control the camera using RED Control or RED Control Pro, as well as offload media via FTPS or in-camera Cloud Uploading functionality (Frame.io and S3).
