The dead cat may fit over the mic itself, but it relies on two velcro fasteners to wrap around the back of the mic to secure it in place. It seems that this is designed for the Videomic Pro or something with a similar form factor. Long story short, though this is a great dead cat, I don't think it'll work on your setup without making some compromises.

I don't know!

Ordered for the road video mic plus only received the one for the Pro does not fit my microphone so I wouldn't know order was made on the 12th is now the 31st and I still don't know when it's coming. The movie I did on the 25th has a lot of wind noise. Wish I could've tried the dead cat.

Not only a wind screen but also some ambient sounds

The wind screen outside for outdoor shots is great but even indoors some ambient sounds (air conditioning, heating, some hums but not all, can be reduced with this simple wind screen
