Red Giant Key Correct 1 Customer Upgrade for NLE and Effects Applications, Mac & Windows Compatible (Download)

The Red Giant Key Correct 1 Customer Upgrade is an electronic download of a set of 15 plug-ins for select NLE and effects applications. This upgrades the customer from any version of Composite Wizard 1 to Key Correct. The plug-in supports both Windows and Mac platforms, working with FCP, Motion and After Effects. It is compatible with 64-bit operating systems that allow significant performance gains.

Key Correct is a toolset for working with alpha channels generated by other keyers or by Key Correct's own keyer. It provides you tools to refine your matte and improve the effect. It also incorporates tools specifically designed to deal with the artifacts often found in DV footage. With Key Correct you can easily correct and clean poor alpha channels and easily remove wire rigs and moving elements (requires using the built in tracker in After Effects). Other tools include a Denoiser and several pre-keying tools to clean up potentially difficult footage before keying. Specialized tools also allow you to easily match the color of foreground and background layers for a more believable effect.

This is an upgrade to Key Correct for customers who own any version of Composite Wizard 1.

Host Application Support
Key Correct is a set of plug-ins that work in Adobe After Effects, Apple's Final Cut Pro 6/7 and Apple's Motion and since it is a set of plug-ins, it can handle whatever resolution the host application is working in. All of the tools work in either 8 or 16-bit color depth.

Built-in Keyer
Key Correct includes its own keyer, but you can also use it to clean up and modify mattes/alpha channels generated by keyers, such as Primatte Keyer and others.

Matching Foreground and Background
With Key Correct, it becomes possible to put your subject in front of a compelling virtual sunset with Color Matcher, a tool that remaps foreground colors to match backgrounds. Then use Light Wrap to give the illusion that background light is reflecting into the foreground, allowing the colored lights from the scene to reflect on your subject.

Edge Tools
With the Matte Feather and Edge Blur tools, you can quickly and accurately soften the edges of mattes. You can also lighten and outline the edges of objects creating a more realistic looking composite.

Blur
Three different levels of smoothness, horizontal and vertical blur and per-channel blur options.

Zone HLS Filter
Indicates highlight, midtone and shadow regions to simplify color adjustment.
