For professionals seeking superior audio conversion, the HR-ADC1 24 Bit/192 kHz Analog to Digital Audio Converter is a high-quality, advanced solution. This professional-grade ADC is designed to deliver exceptional audio accuracy and clarity across all audio sources and styles. Its superior analog performance, fine-tuned through rigorous audiophile listening practices, ensures very low distortion (0.0006%), ultra-low noise (-135 dB), and a remarkably flat frequency response (+/- 0.05 dB).
The HR-ADC1 is not just about performance, it also offers unparalleled metering flexibility and programmability. With features like average mastering level monitoring and peak value storage, it provides comprehensive control over your audio conversion process. It supports external sync capability and front-panel settings up to 24 bits and a 192 kHz sample rate, making it a versatile tool for demanding applications.
This reliable and durable ADC accepts balanced +4 dBu or unbalanced -10 dBV stereo audio through rear panel XLR or RCA jacks or through a detachable terminal block. It also accommodates an external AES/EBU, AES-3ID, or S/PDIF sync source through a rear-panel XLR, RCA, or BNC jack. Digital audio outputs are provided in AES/EBU, AES-3ID, or S/PDIF formats, available on the corresponding XLR, RCA, or BNC jack.
The HR-ADC1 also features front panel LEFT and RIGHT controls for input gain adjustment, allowing you to achieve the desired average signal level for the digital conversion. The audio metering string's zero decibel (0 dB) reference level can be set to -14, -16, -18, or -20 dBFS, and the meter can display peak or VU average audio levels. Audio peaks between -10 dBFS and 0 dBFS (clipping) are displayed separately, and the peak display can be set to either flash or store the peak values.
The HR-ADC1 also provides rear-panel inputs for an external sync source, with an EXTERNAL SYNC LOCK LED that illuminates when a valid external sync is connected. The front-panel SYNC button sets the converter to synchronize to the external source. When external sync is not used, the HR-ADC1 converts at the sample rate selected using the front-panel RATE button. The number of BITS is user-selectable on the front panel.
The HR-ADC1 is powered from 24 Vdc, which can be connected through the detachable terminal block or through the dc power jack. A front-panel power switch is provided for convenience. With its robust features and high-quality performance, the HR-ADC1 24 Bit/192 kHz Analog to Digital Audio Converter is the ultimate tool for professional audio conversion.
