The Red Giant Light Effects for Trapcode Suite features 20 light effect-based animation projects and 100 light effect-based transitions in the form of After Effects projects templates. In addition to After Effects, Light Effects requires at least Trapcode 2.0 to use just the project templates and requires Knoll Light Factory, Knoll 3D Flare and Trapcode Shine, in addition to Trapcode Particular 2.0 to use the transitions.

The template workflow means you simply replace existing graphics and text with your own media content and titles, then tweak with whatever customizations you desire. The light transitions include flashes, bursts, streaks, sweeps and wipes that let you cut to the next scene or shot with style.
