The Rode SC7 is a high-quality shielded patch cable, designed to allow the VideoMic GO to connect to TRRS compatible devices such as the iPhone or iPad. The gold-plated contacts are colour coded, with gray indicating the TRRS output. The cable is colour matched to the red TRS to TRS cable that is supplied with the VideoMic GO and is easily fitted by inserting the TRS (black) jack into the rear of the VideoMic GO and the TRRS end (gray) into the smartphone or tablet.

This is crazy overpriced for what it is, but it works, and the build quality is pretty good.

What I needed and it came in earlier than I expected.

GREAT service

I have used my SC7 cord for a couple of weeks now and have noticed that it no longer is sending signal to my iPhone. The Rode Wireless GO mic and receive are working as normal, and my iPhone is depicting the "headphone" logo meaning it is definitely recognizing the input. However, upon video playback, audio sounds as you would expect if you weren't using a microphone at all, just the phone itself. So many cables, adapters, and issues, its very hard to tell what is the culprit. But we believe it is the cable.
