Just what I wanted

i like it. I put this on a Nikon Z 5 for better audio when taking video. So far seems perfect. It's sounds just like it was live. I was able to set back a little bit in the hall and capture the audio and video of the entire room perfectly.

I picked this one over a video mic to record with iPhone

Excellent microphone. I was undeceive between this and the regular video mic which is cheaper and includes the windshield so I bought them both but I ended keeping this one because it's newer so it has a more recent technology, it is also lighter even though is bigger, it has a usb-c connection which I can use it to connect to my iPhone and control the gain and it look good for recording video with my iPhone. I really liked this microphone.

a HUGE upgrade from my DSLR built-in microphone

So I'e been really hesitant form using my built-in microphone for my Canon DSLR paired with the sigma 18-35. The sigma 18-35 is, by far, the best lens ever for crop sensor cameras but the autofocus is annoying when recording video and audio. I picked up this mic, not only to separate the audio and place it away from the lens but it gives my voice more clarity, deep rich sound, and the small size make the quality feel underrated. The audio quality is amazing, PERIOD. of course, the closer you are, the better the sound, monitor your audio levels, and this microphone will take you far.

Spectacular sound at great price!

I have used this for several vlogs and I'm incredibly happy with the sound. Even in events where there was a lot of activity, the person I pointed the mic towards was very clear. I love the fact that I don't have to worry about batteries! I have been at events before where my batteries would die and I lost audio. Can I say as well they this mic looks amazing? Just a great buy that I'm happy with.

Just do it. One of the best purchases I?ve made!

I was trying to find the right microphone for my A7IV, watching and reading countless reviews. I landed on the rode series of mics, having to choose between a the videomic go and the NTG. Then, as if by destiny, I saw the preorder for the videomic go 2. It was the perfect price point with the perfect features. I saw a video review for it and it sounded immense! I sent in my order, received it not long after, and mounted it on the A7IV. It sounds so good and is so light and compact! One of the best purchases I?ve made for the new camera.
