KEN P : Can this work for th NTG2?PETER S : It can work with the Rode NTG 2, but you would need a cable that goes from XLR to 1/8 inch. But, since this adapter plugs into an XLR connection, that would be redundant. If you are plugging the NTG 2 into a device with XLR inputs, you don't need this adapter. If however, you want flexibility, that is plugging the NTG 2 into your camera (with 1/8 inch input) and you only want one cable, then yes, this adapter will work fine.HUGO G : The NatG-2 already has xlr an xlr connector. Compact and stylish functional adapter

This product does absolutely what it ‘says on the tin’: It is a straight forward XLR-3 M to 1/8” (3.5mm) F adapter and it carries the signal absolutely fine. I have tested this with the Rode wireless filmmaker kit, plugging the 1/8” coiled cable supplied with the product. The design is very compact, which is very helpful when space is of the essence.
