I received this bag on 1/4 and returned it on 1/11. It never left my house and was never used as my equipment didn't fit despite Billingham assuring me it would. They only credited me 50% of what I paid - as they said the tag was cut off and it was heavily used. As you can see in the video, it was in mint, unused condition. I did cut the tag off. This company makes a good product but are thieves!!! Too many other options. Stay away!

Beautiful color and texture. Big enough for camera and some gear but not too big. Wonderful accessory!

This bag is gorgeous - absolutely worth the money. I imagine it'll develop a handsome patina over time. The quality is really impressive, so satisfied!

I bought the case to transport my Leica Q and LeicaQM cameras. My purchasing it was reinforced with several customer reviews claiming it did and would provide more than ample space to store the two. In no way is this possible. One Leica Q fits comfortably. I decided to keep it since it's a beautiful case and I've resigned myself to use it exclusively for the new camera. My entire experience with spending over seven thousand dollars for this Monochrome was outstanding. This is the first 3 star rating I have ever given anything connected with a Leica product.

Very well made. The size is perfect. The front zipper pocket is a big plus. I sewed in two mesh pockets for further organizing. The black is very stylish!

I've been searching for the past couple of months for a replacement to my Billingham Leica M Combination bag, where my Leica M2, M8, and M9 (and soon M240) have all sat over the years. I've used Domke, Artisan & Artist, Fogg, and many other bags in the past, but I've always gone back to my Billingham Leica bag. Why? 1. Fits my M body and 3 lenses comfortable (50Noct, 35CronIV, 90Cron). I keep one lens on the camera and the other two tucked inside its Leica leather pouches, which also fit snugly into the compartments. 2. BLACK. The Billingham Leica bag is completely matte black. Stealth is everything in street photography and especially when you are using a Leica. Not only will it help to deter theft, but it will also deter attention from your subjects. 3. AVEA Leica M side pockets are detachable and are excellent for those extra accessories. I usually keep a couple pens, shutter release cable, and some cleaning cloths. It also has a larger zipped front pocket, where I can keep my battery, memory cards, and a note pad (I've even fit a Kindle Fire in it for long trips). The inner compartment also has a rear pocket, which is where I keep a few filters, cleaning cloths, and business cards for quick access. I keep a pretty light load, which is the whole point of owning an M system. So when I want to have just the bare minimum, then I unhook the AVEA pockets and it's just a tiny bag with a body and lenses. 4. The top of the inner compartments are also closed off by a cushion before the external cover is buckled on. I questioned the durability of the brass strap locks, but they have stand through the test of time and have never unlocked or release on their own. It might seem like a very insecure locking mechanism at first, but it is extremely safe and efficient...you have extremely fast access to your camera and lenses, which is critical to get the shot sometimes. I've done photojournalistic, wedding, modeling, and travel photography completely with Leica cameras and this bag have always survived the abuse. 5. The shoulder strap is wide and comfortable but I also purchased a Billingham pad for it. The Leica camera's original strap is extremely painful to wear over long periods of time and the tiny rubber stubs can really irritate the skin on the back of your neck. I recommend the leather Leica strap, which is a great alternative to the stock strap that comes with your camera. The Billingham shoulder pad also has a rubber lining, so it will not slip when you are wearing it diagonally. Like I've mentioned before, I've owned and tried many bags in the past, but I've always gone back to my Billingham Leica M Combo bag in the end. I've used it for many years now and it still performs and looks great for its age. Hope this helps. Tuananh

This is a great bag, nice and compact for a Leica M System or other small outfit. Unlike other lesser bags - like the ThinkTank Retrospective 5 that I replaced with this - this provides weather and dust protection. The top of the bag completely covers the opening so water etc cannot get in. The only thing I would change to this bag is add a handle on the top. As it is the only way to carry it is by using the shoulder strap.

Construction and materials are what stand out in this bag. It is not your regular ballistic nylon bag. Inside is very well finished and padded. Excellent ergonomics. I carry or protect my Fuji X Pro-1 in it, which I care for very much, and I think this bag is in the same standard of the camera.

I have found this "Billingham" designed for the Leica M series is just right in every way. In over 40 years of photography I have used most of the top name bags but this 'Billingham' impresses me the most. I use it for the Leica M8 as an every day addition with briefcase for in car travel. Also for short weekends away, walks, hikes etc. Its size is perfect as you can get for the Leica camera with two or so lenses. Not too big and not too small. The large side pocket is of adequate size for small fill flash, polarizer, etc.Inside pocket ideal for manuals and Exposure records etc. It is also very comfortable worn on the shoulder, offering excellent fast access to equipment. The materials used in its construction are of a heavy weight and of very high quality. It would easily last a lifetime.

Beautiful color and texture. Big enough for camera and some gear but not too big. Wonderful accessory!
"Billingham" Combination Case... The most flexible case for your Leica M (or Digilux 3) equipment holds either two M cameras with two lenses or one camera and three lenses. It provides easy and compact transportation even for large lenses or with a LEICAVIT-M or LEICA MOTOR-M fitted. A zipped compartment also provides space for a LEICA SF 24D flash and for films and other accessories. Waterproof canvas.
Billingham chooses the very best materials and uses them in a way that takes maximum advantage of their natural properties, then manufactures the product to precise quality standards. That's why Billingham bags have solid brass fittings, top-grain leather, the best threads and fittings you can find - and a reputation to match.
The Combination bag features a zipperless main compartment which has quick access to your gear, as well as excellent weatherproofing. It features quick release studs that hold down the top, which is gusseted on the sides for extra precipitation protection, along with interior front and back pockets plus adjustable interior dividers.
