Explore the D4 4K Professional Presentation Switcher/Scaler with HDMI Input Module, a versatile powerhouse designed to meet the demands of modern video presentations and broadcasts. This advanced 4K scaler is not just a tool; it's an all-in-one solution for scaling, presentation switching, 4K distribution, and broadcast applications. The D4 offers multiple operation modes, making it an incredibly flexible choice for a wide range of professional settings.
The D4 is equipped to handle a vast array of input signals across numerous formats, converting, scaling, and transcoding them to standard HDMI 2.0 outputs or optional ports like DisplayPort. Its dual-channel 4K output scalers deliver exceptional 12-bit processing and YUV 4:4:4 color space, ensuring vibrant and accurate color reproduction. As a fully modular system, the D4 embodies the cutting-edge in multi-format 4K presentation switching, featuring a comprehensive onboard feature set and the renowned RGBlink modular design.
This switcher/scaler supports a variety of input signals, including HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.2, and 12G-SDI, as well as conventional 2K signals. It seamlessly converts and scales these inputs to 4K outputs, with dual-channel 4K HDMI 2.0 outputs as standard. These channels can be duplicated via the option slot, providing full 4:4:4 color space and 12-bit processing, along with HDR signal support for superior performance.
The D4's built-in EDID management and HDCP 2.X compliance ensure compatibility and security across devices. It excels in applications requiring scan conversion, scaling, or seamless presentation switching, making it ideal for high-performance and broadcast workloads.
The D4 offers several operational modes to suit different needs:
- Standard Mode: Both output channels are duplicated, providing identical program and monitor outputs. Picture-in-Picture (PiP) options are available, with PiP/layer count dependent on output resolution and layer arrangement.
- Presentation Mode: Utilize up to three 4K inputs as PiPs over a 4K background video source.
- Independent (Dual 4K) Mode: Configure each output channel separately for image, resolution, scale, and other attributes.
- Splicing Mode: Use output channels to stitch or splice input sources, creating large, seamless, fully synchronized display surfaces.
- Switcher (Preview) Mode: Both outputs are set to the same resolution, with one channel serving as program (PGM) and the other as preset preview (PST) for seamless alpha switching between preset and program.
The D4 supports HDR signals with high dynamic range processing, offering high bandwidth and wide gamut 12-bit gray level processing. It accepts all common 2K and 4K input formats, with customizable output resolutions to meet downstream requirements.
Enhance your visuals with a range of effects and fine-grain controls, including image rotation and flip, crop and position adjustments, and scalable outputs. The output splicing feature allows you to split output across dual channels, providing an 8K x 2K display canvas with seamless pixel-to-pixel hard edge blending.
The D4 4K Professional Presentation Switcher/Scaler is the ultimate solution for those seeking high-quality, flexible video presentation capabilities.
