Not for me.

I am not a technically trained person and I was unable to load, open, start any usable function of this device. All I wanted was a simple R/W player for data and audio. Not achievable for me with this unit.

This DVD Burner is not too compatible with my HP Laptop that has Office 10 OS. I required me to update the Power Media Player so I returned the burner.

I really like the way the storage for the cable is built into the side of the drive and the USB connector. No problem at all using this drive. Wish all computer accessories were this well designed.
