This is one of the only options for Fuji X and has gotten good reviews so I though, why not? The workmanship is pretty good and it feels substantial in the hand, while still being light. At least in my copy, the focus ring doesn't have any play and isn't too damped (can be nudged by accident though). Not wild about the feel of the aperture ring, could be a little tighter. The lens cap stays on pretty securely, at least in my experience, and isn't particularly inconvenient. I only have a few hundred shots on it so far but the image quality is as good or better than expected. I received the lens right before a weekend trip to NYC and decided to shoot exclusively with it on an X-H1 as a learning experience. Keeper rate, low. Fun level, high! It showed pretty good contrast in all lighting conditions and to my eyes is as sharp as Fuji's 10-24 at f/4, at least in the center. I honestly don't care too much about edge sharpness in the types of images I'm taking with this lens but it's not noticeably bad on a 30" monitor. For the price of this lens I honestly would not spend too much time reading reviews like this, if you can spend this amount on a lens you probably shouldn't be using every day, just do it. Oh and if you're scared of manual focus, this is the lens to start with! Even at f/2 you barely have to keep track of where your focus is set.

Fun lens for the money

If you like the fisheye effect you will like this lens. It is easy to zone focus, is very sharp and has a nice color rendition.
