This lens is a manual focus and iris lens, devoid of auto focus or auto iris capability, offering you full control over your photography. The XEEN 50mm T1.5 Pro Cine Lens for Sony E features cinema-style focus and iris gears that are uniformly positioned across the XEEN series. The universal 114mm front diameter facilitates swift lens changes when using a matte box and focus accessories. The focus ring provides a 200-degree rotation from close focus to infinity, granting you precise control over focus adjustments. This 50mm lens is designed with an image circle that fully covers a full-frame sensor. When mounted on a full-frame sensor camera, it provides a normal angle of view, neither telephoto nor wide-angle. The lens is built with robust metal construction to endure the demands of daily production, and includes a support to alleviate strain on your camera's lens port. Dual right and left side focus and t-stop scales allow your focus puller to operate from either side of the lens, eliminating the need to flip the lens in the mount or deal with upside numerals. If there were 6 stars I would give it a 5. (Because of the weight) But worth all five stars. A little green in the glass but hey for 1700 dollars it’s way worth it. Flawless picture and very very smoth gears for aperture and focusing.
